Question

Too many amazing boards to choose from! I think I have narrowed my search down to these two by Asus. What do you guys think? I will be using a p4 around 2.5, and a Radeon 9700 pro.
Opinions?
Thanks!
-Tim

ps-what are your opinions on the Gigabyte 8SG667?
Its also 8x AGP, handles DDR400 very well, and can run up to 355mhz bus.

i've actually got a similar question...i went with the P4T533-C and could not get it to work for the life of me...tried two boards, PSUs, CPUs, videocards, types of RDRAM...etc...

Deciding whether or not to go with the P4T533 (not C), the P4S8X, or the P4S533. I would like the performance of DDR400 with all the goodies on the P4S8X, but there seems to be a lot of problems with the P4S8X :( . The P4S533 supposedly works with DDR400 but doesn't come with the cool firewire, AGP 8X, etc. And for the P4T533...I'm just afraid of running into the same problem as with the C version.

Why can't there just be a super board made already? If the p4s533 or t533 (not-c) just had DDR400 support and 8x AGP, I would be sold :( ;)

Sorry to unfloat your boat, but the p4S533 uses RIMM4200, not DDR400. The DDR400's is for the sis chipsets (648). The p4s533 is an 850e, I think.

Lol, you are definetly right. I was talking about the p4T, not the p4s, for some reason... ;)
Thx
