I personally considered getting the Eee 900 because of the size and portability. However, the reviews are really not that good at the moment. Battery life is the top complaint. There are a lot of complaints too about the screen cracking and bad WiFi connectivity. I decided to hold off on the cute little umpc until the standards are raised on it. At $549, there are plenty more umpc's out there that are within the same price range with much better quality and features. I'm really looking to see what is released after Computex.

I might need to elaborate a bit more. I wanted an Eee when they first ever were released. The size is what attracted me to it. I want/wanted the Eee for my main usage computer, and my Sabayon Linux desktop that I built, to be transormed into a different device for the TV with a blu-ray player. This would require new internal bits for it to work properly with the TV. Because I want a umpc, which was the Eee, then I need to have full trust that I can rely on it for the price. I would have a mental moment if I was without a computer. I don't want it for gaming as I'm not a gaming sort of person. The Eee has everything I need but want to feel more secure about it. I kind of feel that it was just a 'rush' deal. Do I make sense? Sometimes I really don't. Could be a blonde moment!

it is bset use for travel , for internet surfing, answer emails, do some simple spreadsheets etc.

I doubt it is good for photoshop, editing photos.

so editors take note that the keypad is a bit too small for most.
