Just registered (after 30 minutes to get the registration page to work  ).
I am in the process of building a new system based on the ASRock Z68 Extreme 4 board. I am hoping to get some insight on a bunch of configuration decisions I have yet to make. |

Hello everyone, I'm an old computer geek that took a 20 sum'n ywar break from computers and am trying to learn all that I can to get up to speed on today's computer technology. Until last year, the last computer I had was an Apple IIe in 1988 lol and built my first computer in October. I just finished my second about a week ago and here are the specs: fx-8120,Fatality 990fx,8GB ripjaws-x 1600,Zalman 9900 max cooler,Aerocool strike-x S.T. case,O.C.Z. 550 watt lower power supply-350 watt seasonic upper power supply(peripherals),dual Asus burners (1-Blu-ray).T.V. tuner card,Sapphire 6870 card, corsair 60 gig s.s.d.,750 gig w.d. sata 2 storage mech.,Seagate 160 gig sata 3 gaming storage drive, Strike-x L.C.D. fan and temp controler panel, and a 500 gig seagate 2.5" usb 3 external backup drive. I use a 24" Asus led monitor and my 46" lcd t.v. for gaming.I'm trying to learn all that I can and especially about why my Shogun 2 game makes my computer restart. I'll do more research though, so hello and message me if you have any questions or advice.Thanks

Could it be overheating ?
try reseating your graphics card?

i dont think so,i thought it b4,so i put new arctic silver on my zalman 990 max cooler,and chkd my vidya card. ive about gave up playn it ol.

Hi!
Just joined to find out how to squeeze the most out of a new Asrock Extreme 4 Gen 3 and i5 2500K build.
Other than computers, my other interest is AV stuff. I've been a member over at AVForums.com for over 8 years now. Mixing computing and home theatre requirements is great fun!
I'm based in the North West of England.
