Radeon HD 2950XT to be launched in September

According to friends at Fudzilla, ATi has plans to release a R650 chip which is based on 65nm manufacturing process. The current R600 based on the 80nm manufacturing process will be redesigned to improve on its texture power to go head on with the NV 8800GTX and 8800Ultra.

Will ATI be able to take on NV in september with the R650XT and NVIDIA will most likely be coming out with something to compete head on with ATi in September?

Only time will tell.
