4x ati crossfire cards and 2 for nvidia physx???
12 (or even 18 with the new ati 58xx series) monitors
1 quatro + 5 tesla super commuting rig?
Where there is an idea there can be found some use for most "bizarre" inventions :)

Well, the P6T7 WS SuperComputer can be (is) a regular workstation mobo.
The eVGA 4-Way would be for overclocking... ^o^

EVGA shows its new GTX 285 Classified:
Quote:
Classified with 4-way SLI
In addition to the EVGA X58 Classified 4WAY SLI motherboard with seven PCI-Express slots, EVGA has announced a new GTX 285 Classified graphics card that features quad-SLI support.
The new EVGA GTX 285 Classified, part number 01G-P3-1190-AR, is actually the first Geforce card that supports 4-way, or Quad-SLI, whatever you want to call it. The new card keeps the reference 649, 1476 and 2484MHz clocks for core, shaders and 1GB of GDDR3 memory. It still has 240 stream processors, a 512-bit memory interface and a dual slot cooler.
Beside the Quad-SLI support, the new GTX 285 Classified also need three 6-pin PCI-Express power connectors. According to the EVGA's web site, additional power input is used for Extreme OC, so we guess that it could work with the regular two, as long as you don't overclock it. The card also has an 8-phase digital PWM power design, voltage measurement points, and comes with support for EVGA's EVbot external device that can be plugged directly to the card.
This new GTX 285 Classified looks like an ultimate overclockers dream when it comes to Nvidia cards, and we are quite sure that it will easily find its market. The card is currently listed at EVGA's site with a US $379.99 price tag...

Very nice, even if it may be a tad too late, if AMD RV870 pans out...
