ASUS EeePC 900 review
Do you find traveling with your 14" notebook clumsy ? Do you need something that is more portable but is good enough for most of your work for documents, viewing youtube, editing some photos. If yes, the Eee PC 900 will probably be a good replacement for it.
Small, Robust and portability is the key to success of the Eee PC. Weighing only 990g, the 900 series features a built-in Solid State Disk (SSD) technology – which offers a quiet, energy saving and shock proof design for stable computing on-the-go.

Good, let the war of mini-labtop start.
I will consider upgrading to mini-laptop next year when there's more competitors and selections.
Here's what I like to see and know.... - The 3 hrs battery is really too little for mobile user. I think minimium battery should be 5hrs. How much will it cost to buy an extra 4 cells battery ?
- The WinXp version comes with 12GB SSD storage. I wonder how much storage space remain for other software ?
It's good thing that Asus finally make it possible to play flash and youtube.

That is very unlikely. The war between Intel and VIA willbegin.
In parallel, more manufacturers will develop nano iTX boards for such devices.
nano itx boards are as small as a conventional CD/DVD-ROM drive.

Not really. Competition doesn't necessarily drives price down but over-production does....

I don't think they have enough 'old' chipsets to reproduce so many of them.
