i had that board kt266a (3ddr) and i was pretty happy 5yrs ago when i trashed it .... it's really chaintec apogee ... never known it was their series name but it fit perfectly  the worst piece of crap i could remember ever. and it's not accident that shitchaintec disappered from mobo audio market after that and regained som rev with some graphics they initially never produce.
So to cut the crap down they where good in p2-klamath time but they suck big time after that and especially for athlons but the people still bought them .... and it's not worth time of your life believe me.

yeah i appreatiate that creeping 64 m8, but i only need a manual or diagram as i dont want to connect it up wrong, hdd lights etc or usb pins and blow up a cam or any other usb
as i got teh board/prosessor (xp2600)for free, i not that worried as its better than what i have at the min........
it has 128/pc100 of sdram and its a very old board 350mhz i was told,
was good in its day i supose, but its getting a bit past it now, but as with funds not so good at the moment
its a boost for me, no matter how awfull the performance it is.
i have wrote to chaintech asking for there manual as there is nothing for any of these boards on site, see if they reply, fingers crossed on that
so question still stands has anyone found an old manual they got in a attic....lol
cheers for looking
