Probably upgrade my radeon 8500(r200) to r250 or r300. Whenever they come out.

Hey Public Mayhem,

You read those stats on the Nvidia Omen.

I got a good laugh at the dual T&l pipelines (Radeon 8500 already has 2)

Another one was the backward compatible to Glide. I thought glide went out of use when 3Dfx went under.

Anywas if even half of it is true, it would be a cool card.

Ps If you read the stats on the r300, you get a good laugh too. I like to wait until the card comes out to see what it really comes with.(My experience with the Radeon and all of its PR bulls*** ie smoothvision which still doesn't work properly)

I would like to get 256 or 512 PC-2100 or PC2700 DDR Ram and a new graphics card(GF4 Ti 4200? or RV250?) either at the end of this year or in early 2003.

Hmm... I would like to upgrade to some sort of either RAID setup, or switch to a SCSI U160 solution. Right now, everything in my PC is pretty much tip-top, but HDD access is proving to be a big bottleneck.

ECS K7S5A
XP2000+ OC'd to XP2100+
512MB OCZ PC2400 DDR
VisionTek GeForce3 OC'd to 230/515
WinXP Pro
Soundblaster Audigy

This is what I'm running now in my system:

K7A5A board
AMD 1800+
Visiontek Geforce 3
Quantum 40 gig 7200 rpm
1 stick of 512 DDR Corsair memory
Promise ATA/100 TX2 controller card
SoundBlaster live
Plextor 24x10x40

Going to add 2 WD 40 gigs to it soon.
