Thumbs up Intel Compute Stick, who's getting one?

Cool little computer in a stick that coverts a monitor or TV through an HDMI port into a Window's 10 platform.Comes with WiFi and Bluetooth, USB 3.0 amd 2.0. Mid range stick has 2G ram and 64G storage and a mini-SD slot for expansion. Stay away from the 1.0 versions as they had buggy WiFi from what I read.

See Intel's write up here:

It's interesting as it runs full fledged Windows 10 but I will stick to my less powerful RaspPI 2 for my HTPC needs for now.

The Skylake version sounds potentially interesting although I can only find proper benchmarks for the CherryTrail version (yuck) though. Still, I don't understand the need to cram a computer into this little space, especially when you're stuck with compromises like an external PSU anyway. From my perspective I prefer something like the NUC we can get memory upgrades and proper SSDs into for the best balance of power consumption, performance and price in these little PCs.

I think those Chrome stick might be a better choice if you already own a
Android phone.

It has both from what I read so you can integrate you cell phone. I'll have to look it up get back to you. It doesn't operate on Android but communicates with it.
