It is an OEM part. I suppose it should become popular in tablets ?

I have no use for a super thin SSD at this time, but it certainly would be great for tablets. It would be great if laptop manufacturers would use this type of SSD and double stack them for increased capacity or RAID. Perhaps they do and I just haven't seen one.
As far as SSD's go, I'm using an Intel 520 256GB, OCZ Vertex 3 60GB, Crucial M4 256GB and an Adata SX900 128GB. All are fast and reliable.

A number of my friends had bad experience with Intel SSD.. X25. All data were gone.

SSD only last less than 2 yrs.

The x25 was a very early model. The 520 series is one of the most reliable SSD on the market. Comes with a 5 year warranty in Canada. It has been recently replaced with the 530. Personally, I would prefer to only buy Intel SSD's, but they're very expensive.
