Here's the confusion. The file on the web has a Fasttrak.inf from 11/22/01 and .sys same date and file number 2.0.0.21. The CD that came with the MB has the same .sys file but the .inf file is dated 1/30/02! Which would you recommend or have found that works????

I am using the one from 11/22/01 right now, so I would suggest that one. A Gigabyte tech told me the one on the cd was no good.

One last question (I HOPE!)
Use the WinXP Promise MBFastTrak 133 Lite or
WinXP Promise SBFastTrack 133 Lite driver?

THANKS

pastorjay,

I having similiar problems to what is shown is this thread. I have set the bois to RAID, F6 during Win2000 install, used the RAID Drivers. When I use the RAID drivers, the install never sees the disks. When I use the ATA settings and use the ATA drivers from the web, I only see one of my disks.

I'm at a loss. Is it the promise chip? I have win2000 loaded but I don't always see both drives in the ATA mode. I boot and the other one may show up.

Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated or anyones.

see this post for more detail on my problem.
