I have to disagree, if you want to try it just smear a little on the bridges and test for youself.
I didnt mean that the cooler would actually spread it on the L11 bridges, what I was meaning was that some of the AS 3 could have been inadvertantly smeared on the bridges from fingers etc.

As I stated before, Arctic Silver is only Heat conductive, not elecricity, so I'm modestly 99,99% certain that the problems are not because of that.

And yes I know what you meant Hood, and I also agree that all suggestions are surely welcome to Shaft^Felix...after all, there is that probability of 0,01% that the arctic silver is indeed to blame.

I just want to make clear: no arctic silver is on any of the bridges from L1 to Lxxxxxxxxx!!!!!!! ;) . My athlon reports that he wants a voltage of the value 1,75 volts but i think the Psu can`t deliver it to the board. The other (much more bad)case would be that my board is damaged and that i have to send it in to gigabyte.
THX for all the interest :D
P.S.no one should think that i wanted to offend anyone with this post ;) so far

Read this Thread and decide if the 0.01% still holds or does it flip 180 deg :D
I am not flaming or anything but I can assure you that it does conduct as I had this prob myself.
Anyway hope felix gets it sorted with a bigger PSU.

Hood, I don't know what kind of Arctic Silver you people use, but here in Finland there has never been arctic silver that conducts electricity in any way, and you can confirm that in MuroBBS forum(http://www.muropaketti.com/murobbs/), which by the way has about 10000 users registered in it :D
