Intel chipset roadmap update - Eaglelake in Q2 2008

Here is an update of the various chipsets for the Intel platform. In Q2 2008, Intel will introduce a new integrated chipset 'Eaglelake'. It will support the FSB 1333 processors, DDR3 1333 or DDR2-800. It comes with Clear Video Technology, HD-DVD/Blu-RAy support with integrated HDMI/DVI/D-SUB. It will be paired wiht ICH10 south bridge.

In the next quarter, there will also be new chipsets introduced that will superecede the older chipsets. Some of these boards are already shown at CeBIT. It will most likely be the focus on this year's Computex Exhibition to be held in Taipei.
