Asrock 990FX Extreme 9 and Memory

Hi I am a little confused with the memory for an Asrock 990FX Extreme 9 board. When using it with an AMD FX9590 should I use 1866 memory or faster. AMD say the max. memory frequency with this CPU is 1866. I wonder what the memory of choice is for this board/CPU combination.
