For RPGs, dungeon siege, neverwinter nights..
FPS(requiring some stealth & thinking), No One Lives Forever 2(it's really great)..
Strategy, AOM, AOW 2, Heroes 4

If you are into mythology there's Warcraft II and III and Diablo I and II. If you are into science fiction try Starcraft. All are RPG.

I can't wait for FreeLancer to come out from Micro$oft - it's a space based flying strategy game loosely based on StarLancer. It sounds pretty much like Elite for the BBC B from the 80's, although with slightly better graphics!! It's my birthday in a month - let's hope its out in time!! ;)

Hey, I'm glad I wasn't the only one to play Elite. I used to enjoy that. I even found the updated colour version for windows.
Unfortunately, it wasn't updated enough to make it worthwhile as a PC windows game. Ah well - memories!  |
