Aquamark 3 on Windows 8 Pro
I never got this old bench to work on Win 7, but I got it to work on Win 8.

No sir, well at least not on 64 bit systems. You need a patch and then you have to run capability settings as XP SP3, and then you have to play around with the video display settings. Actually Windows 8 did that part for me.
When I last ran this on my old XP system, I was hitting 112k, then when Vista came along I could not get above 87K with the same hardware. Now that I'm over 212K with Windows 8, I'm happy with that.

You know even though I got it to run on Windows 10 as well, the score never got this high. It seems as the drivers are developed further for higher end cards and Direct-X 12, it actually runs the older stuff slower. Probably why they say to use a newer style benchmark to get a real feel for your system.
