Asrock G31M-VS2 CPU Speed and Overclock Problem
I bought a new G31M-VS2 motherboard from asrock but I have problems about CPU and overclocking first My CPU is a Intel Core 2 Duo E7300 It supposed to work at 2.66 Ghz but It's only working at 2.00 Ghz when I tried to load OCtuner for my motherboard I tried to install it from the CD that comes with motherboard but guess what the CD was not working so I downloaded it from asrocks own web site but it gave an error saying this program is not for this platform but it supposed to be suitable for the platform because I downloaded it from G31M-VS2 page on the website I don't know what to do I am not very pleased with this motherboard I wish I wouldn't buy it but I did so I need your help please tell me what to do

Clear the CMOS and restart the system to see if auto detection works. How are you reporting the CPU speed? If in windows, it must be under load while testing otherwise it will throttle down at idle.

What base clock is set, and what multiplier? Is Turbo enabled?
