Default ATi Radeon HD 2600XT specs photos leaked

China site, pcinlife has leaked a series of pictures of the upcoming card Radeon HD2600XT.

According to the author, it is saiid that the board uses 256MB of GDDR4. The 65nm manufacturing process GPU comes with a BIOS dated Apr 4th. Max wattage is 80W or lower. There is no additional power connector unlike the NVIDIA 8600GTS. In one of the 1080P video tests, cpu utilisation is lower than 5% on the average. That is amazing.

The features of this card sound fantastic and it's said that the top model will have 8800GTX performance (or better) for the price of a 8800GTS. I can't wait to get one.

top model u mean 2900XT right?haha,i aint no nvidia fan boy but its impossible for the top model of 2600 series to have performance of 8800gtx. But i do hope the 2600XT can whip 8600GTS so that to wake nvidia up to give us back a card worthy of 7600gt & 6600gt legend. Not something that is so heavily and purposely crippled like the 8600series.

How does this beat the hell out of the 8600GTS? The synthetic tests are nearly identical and the FPS' are the same on the game the person tested it on. The only thing I see that could be better is if the 2600XT has better pricing than the 8600GTS. Anyways I won't believe anything until someone does a thorough review on these cards when they finally come out to the U.S.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------
We got hold of an early sample of the RV630. The benchmark numbers are encouraging as it beats the hell out of the 8600GTS.

Here are some early results using X6800 with 2GB of DDR2-800.

3Dmark06

Radeon HD 2600XT - 5760 marks
GeForce 8600GTS - 5900 marks

3Dmark05

Radeon HD 2600XT - 11652 marks
GeForce 8600GTS - 11500 marks

FEAR (1600x1200)

Radeon HD 2600XT - 29 fps
GeForce 8600GTS - 29 fps
