It's a thing of beauty to behold, too bad it's gonna be $400. Do you have any idea how those Supreme FX cards stack up to, say, the Creative X-Fi?
And one more thing about that Gigabyte AM2+ board you posted pictures of and then I'll shut up about it until August. Just give me anything, just a small inklink, in your opinion, of how this board performs. I don't need anything solid, just is it any good? Just tell me this, do you think it's worth waiting for the RD790/AM2+ chipset as a gaming platform?
By the way, you guys' coverage of Computex this year was top notch, I'm pretty sure you guys were more excited about it then anyone else on the web. If it weren't for RD790 showcasing at that event, I would have never heard of this website. I appreciate the coverage. Everyone else waited until the convention was over before they posted anything. It took firingsquad weeks to get an article up.

Thanks. Do stay stuned. Unfortunately, a lot of websites didn't bother to link to our computex coverage.

As for your question abt RD790 and can wait, you will see it paired up with newer South bridge SB700 before yr end.

the boards are very nice.. the LCD Poster being external is very handy especially with 85+ cm wire lead so you can move it around easily :D

not yet. been too busy trying to find a cpu with >500FSB capabilities as it's needed to push DDR3 past 2000Mhz clocks since only have max 1:2 divider.
On Blitz Extreme 0601 bios
X6800 B2 L627A872 retail = 480-485FSB max
E6750 G0 ES = 485-490FSB max
E6600 B2 L709A958 retail = just got this so testing max FSB now.
sigh

It allows Asus Blitz P35 chipset motherboards to work around the 16+4 PCI-E lane limitation that all P35 and P965 chipset motherboards have. It allows Asus Blitz P35 chipset to support 8+8 PCI-E lane crossfire instead of 16+4. I think it's meant to improve crossfire performance by 8-10% over 16+4 but reports suggest it isn't doing much on 2900XT CF due to driver immaturity ???
