Gigabyte GA-G33M-DS2R o/c to 356 X 9 == 3,200Mhz on stock Intel AIR cooling; using the Q6600 2.4GHz B3 processor; Vcore level is set at 1.331v, which droops to 1.264 idling, and droops further to 1.248 loaded; DIMM at 1.9v (stock); the others voltages are at default levels. DDR2-800 is operating at speed of 3x356 = 1068MHz, 5-5-5-15. Temps 32c idle, to 60c with all 4 cores 100% loaded, totally dependent on room T-ambient. Operating with the onboard GMA 3100 graphics processor.
CPU GTLREF Ratio Control (fsb signal overshoot margin) at 0.636. If anyone has diddled this for good or ill, let us know. I thought 0.603 was better but that is iffy, maybe imagined.
At max with all four cores loads with OCCT v1.1.1 the sys does not run very long. If I raise Vcore it runs okay but then I get hooked by temps. When torture testing, stock Intel cooler ain't good enough. Gotta fix that.
My COOLER MASTER 92mm Hyper TX2 CPU Cooler sucks, could not get it seated properly, although I ran it for a couple days and then it fell off. The Intel (copper core) heat sink seated firmly and easily; it has noticeably more precise and robust push-pins.
Really beautiful motherboard. I've tested my Ulead Video Studio edit (DVD movie) rendering which runs ~50% faster. Now I can run two-pass, higher quality processing in less time than single-pass previously.
Of note -- To assuage the fear and tremors engendered by the idea of temperature, I found Intel's datasheets, especially for thermal data. It's interesting that they show charts and graphs for Tcase, not Tcore as I would have expected; therefore, Speedfan v4.33 temps are adequate and appropriate for testing, although Core Temp v0.95.4 is wildly interesting. I had been bemoaning my bad luck when I received a B3 105W Q6600 rather than the G0 95W revision. But if you look at the specs, the G0 runs hotter than the B3--HA!--even at idle. (Of course your test data may differ.)

Info. Does anyone know for sure what Speedfan v4.33 Temp1 and Temp2 are? on this mobo with this processor.
Another note. Look at
