Pretty good work, congratulations!
(even I hate SLI and never plan using it, it is pretty awesome :D Keep on modding!)

Got to keep an open mind Trodas, SLI isn't that bad.

Keep up the good work Chino!

Nice work, but speaking from experience, I'll never touch SLi again. Supposedly CF is less hassle, but I think I'd need a new PSU to try that ;)

I read somwhere that 7950 dual GPUs were not faster in SLI that single 7900. The 7950 only excelled in single card solutions or if used in SLI, very high display modes and max out anti-A to see any benies. Of course these conditions don't run games very well, but could have been driver related at the time.

So Chinobino, do you know if your rig is faster than a pair of 7900's at the same settings and res?

Hi Tweakurr, I have two 7950GT's, I think you are thinking of the 7950GX2's?

Anyway - I decided to run a few benches with my system heavily overclocked for interest's sake...

3dmark06 (1280 x 1024) --> 10,032

3dmark06 (1600 x 1200) --> 8961

3dmark05 (1024 x 768) --> 15,236

3dmark05 (1600 x 1200) --> 14,145

AMD Opteron 175 @ 3003 (273 x 11)
RAM @ 166 Divider, 214.5MHz (2-2-2-10)
2 x 7950GT SLI @ 700-820

Using 84.29 SEDONA driver - not bad eh?
