AMD RD780 gets renamed as 790X

AMD is doing a renaming exercise again. The first was RD790, it is now known as 790FX. AMD RX780 is now known as AMD 770. The latest is RD780 is now known as AMD 790X.

Looks like AMD doesn't like the number 780 or are they going to introduce something in between 790 and 770 ?

AMD 790FX - Dual PCIe x16 CrossFire support and 3, 4 way CF
AMD 790X - Dual PCIe x 8 CrossFire support
AMD 770 - Single channel PCIe x 16.
