Everyone is waiting in anticipation for this new graphics card. China site again release new information with better pictures and benchmarks. Below are pictures of a Unika brand graphics card and it's benchmarks.

Test Envirnoment

Intel QX9770 o/c to 4GHz on air running on Intel X38. The results are two HD 3870 running in CrossFire which will give an indication on how the HD 3870X2 will perform on Cat 7.12

Sorry to burst your bubble folks, but the most your going to get with this card is quad-crossfire. The 3870X2 only has 1 crossfire link, so octagonal-crossfire is just not gonna happen.

I've seen pictures of quad crossfire setups that supposedly worked using cards with only one connector each before. They're connected in pairs. I don't know what effect that has on performance though. Remember that on a PCIe 2.0 board, the cards have got twice as much bandwidth on the bus though, so it might not be as bad as you'd expect...
