Today, NVIDIA launches it's new GPU, the 9600GT. This new GPU brings performance to another level with it's new GPU Core. While most of you will be seeing a lot of reviews based on reference cards, we bring you the first review with a custom ECS design, with a Accelero S2 passive cooler.
The ECS N9600GT-512MX-P is the first
NVIDIA 9600GT card that comes paired with the Accelero S2 passive cooler. Based on the G94 GPU core, this card spots a 512MB GDDR3, 64 Shader processors and has a
Memory interface is at 256 bits. Reference designs are clocked
650/900/1625 for GPU Core/Mem/Shader clk. The ECS N9600GT-512MX-P is factory clocked at a higher
680/925/1728. That will give it a boost in performance.
The ECS N9600GT-512MX-P is also one of it's kind. It comes with the Accelero S2 passive cooler. With this cooler, ECS is able to provide a quiet
0dB solution. The passive cooler also helps to cool down the GPU substantially
without even exceeding 70 deg celsius under heavy load.
