Exclusive Review of ECS N9600GT-512MX-P graphics card with Accelero S2 passive cooler

Today, NVIDIA launches it's new GPU, the 9600GT. This new GPU brings performance to another level with it's new GPU Core. While most of you will be seeing a lot of reviews based on reference cards, we bring you the first review with a custom ECS design, with a Accelero S2 passive cooler.

The ECS N9600GT-512MX-P is the first NVIDIA 9600GT card that comes paired with the Accelero S2 passive cooler. Based on the G94 GPU core, this card spots a 512MB GDDR3, 64 Shader processors and has a Memory interface is at 256 bits. Reference designs are clocked 650/900/1625 for GPU Core/Mem/Shader clk. The ECS N9600GT-512MX-P is factory clocked at a higher 680/925/1728. That will give it a boost in performance.

The ECS N9600GT-512MX-P is also one of it's kind. It comes with the Accelero S2 passive cooler. With this cooler, ECS is able to provide a quiet 0dB solution. The passive cooler also helps to cool down the GPU substantially without even exceeding 70 deg celsius under heavy load.
