I like Sim Lim. Great place for buying PC peripherals & components, prices lower compared to Fu Nan :) Recent bought a Marantz CD player for only $250, I find it attractively priced. But otherwise, I seldom buy consumer electronics

Well, some of these shops simply change their shop names or minor renovation..but still the same bunch of hoolies dealing as sales....as old sayings, do your homework and then shop... same price but you may get short change of your entitled accessories that comes with the packages... anyway, it's always the " buyers beware market but you part your $$$ "

There are some good bargains in Sim Lim Square. ONLY if you have done your homework in checking prices before proceeding to Sim Lim Sq to bargain with them. N the prices varies a wide difference. N don't buy from the Games Shop on the ground floor next to the entrance stairs(Facing the traffic light),. Exorbitant prices, and i do agree that some of the salesmen are gangster-like looking...but they are ok if you speak their lingos. :D
