Computex Taipei 2009 News - ECS ventures into OEM/ODM AMD graphics card
ECS seems to be eyeing the graphics card segment. In the past, ECS has made some impressive nVIDIA cards. Things took a turn and we seldom see much graphics cards from ECS.
In 2009, ECS seems to be eyeing for the graphics card market again. This time round, they are back with more mid range NVIDIA cards, they are also making in roads into AMD GPU graphics cards.
From what we know, ECS will be having AMD based graphics cards, e.g. Radeon HD 4890, 4770 etc. THe bad news is that such cards are aimed for OEM/ODM market. Thus, end users won't be seeing them in the retail market.
We wouldn't be surprised 3rd party sticker brands will be selling cards manufactured by ECS.
