Benchmarks

Throughout our tests, we used the same board -Gigabyte GA-P35T-DQ6 with 2GB Samsung DDR3 running at DDR3-1333 CAS 9,9,9-20. This is applied to both QX9650 and QX6700 (oc). When we overclock the QX9650 to 4GHz (9x 445), the memory is running at 1066MHz (5:6 ratio) at C8, 8-8-21,2T.

Sandra XII tests

From the chart, we tested the Arithmetic and multimedia performance of the CPU. It can be seen from the chart that the QX9650 (default 333x9) outperforms the QX6700 which we overclocked to the same clk speed. As the tests involved only SSE3 instructions, SSE4 is not tested.

The QX9650 can be easily overclocked to 445x9 AIR COOLED. The performance increase can be as high as 34%.
