Benchmarking

We check out the results for ZD Benchmarks using MCCWS2003 and BWS2002. This is a set of applications that tests the performance of the system in desktop applications and multimedia software

MCCWS 2003 tests the system with a bunch of CPU intensive multimedia applications. As we can see from the chart below, the difference is not really that much compared to the dual channel board. A 1.21% difference is recorded.

BWS 2002 tests the system with commonly used Business Applications. In this tests, the margin is closer and in fact just 0.1 or 0.3%. As both benchmarks are more CPU intensive, we can see that ASUS P4P800S-E is quite close in performance to the 865PE board.
