Gigabyte GV-R9500pro
Review (2)
Benchmarking We conduct the a number of tests on the setup with the following configuration : Test System:
Madonion 3DMark2001SE Build 330 and Overclocking Before we test the card, we ran powerstrip and we found that there is no way we can adjust the core and memory clock. Looks like Gigabyte also locked the card to prevent overclocking. We understand that there are some hacked BIOS out there but they're not tested with this card before. As this is a loan board, it would not be advisable unless we get explicit permission from Gigabyte to mod it.
Just like we predicted, the R9500pro seems to be quite a good performer. In fact, if the price is right, R9500pro poses a threat to the GF4 Ti4600 too. From the chart, we can see that the Radeon9500Pro is just 6.98% slower than GF4 Ti4600. |
