RS-MMC Review (1)
Siemens S65 Phones are getting more and more complex these days. From polyphonic ringtones to integrated cameras and to external storage. Siemens, the German phone maker brings us another new S series phone that has the latest in technology built into it. S65, supports GSM 900/1800/1900 and GPRS. If you are familiar with Siemens phone, S65 has improved on its user interface with icons and a joystick to access to the commonly used features like SMS, Camera etc. S65 provides a screen display of 132 x 176 pixels for displaying information. With 16 bits colour depth, the screen images looks good but under strong sunlight, it appears dim. The phone has a nice dimension of 109 x 48 x 18mm and weighs only 98g. This is pretty light compared to the Motorola E398. S65 comes with a max talktime of 5 hrs and a standby time of 250hrs. This is also the first phone to incorporate a 1.3 mpixel digital camera with 5x digital zoom. Ringtones supported format is MIDI, WAV and SRT. Video Recording is supported using 3GP. Java is supported and you can install games via Bluetooth, GPRS or IrDA.
