Winfast NF4K8MC-ERS
Foxconn has been increasing their
presence in the Mainboard Market recently, particularly with AMD designs. Now
they have produced a product based on the NF4 chipset,
bringing one of the first NF4 microATX boards into the
market.
This board,
NF4K8MC-ERS is the little brother of NF4UK8AA-8EKRS
which we reviewed some time ago. Some of the major difference between the two
include the chipset used. As this NF4K8MC-ERS is based on the scaled down
version of the NF4 chipset. This board supports 2 x DDR400, USB 2.0, PCI-Express x 16,
6 channel audio, 1394, Ethernet, SATA NVRAID.
As
this is a microATX board, the board does not have complete
overclocking features. The CPU FSB can only be adjusted up to 250MHz. Multiplier
control is missing and there are no voltage adjustments for VDIMM, VCORE, Vhtt.
