With the individual CPU test segment, we see the big difference between the two. The Intel QX6700 is 14% ahead of the X6800. In the chart above, we can see that X6800 has a poorer CPU score as it is Dual Core. With the QX6700, the scores are pretty close to one another. As we can see, the difference between using DDR and DDR2 is quite minimal considering that both are running in SYNC with the CPU at DDR2-533. DDR at CAS 2 while the DDR2 is run at CAS 3. The 965P runs at CAS 5, 5-5-18, 2T DDR2-800.
