HQV Test
Image quality is another factor when considering a chipset for playing back of videos, be it DVD (MPEG2), MPEG4, VC-1 on HD-DVD or Blu-Ray. We used the professional HQV test on the board and found that the graphics display is exceptionally clear. In fact, we noticed that other than Detail Test is not as good, the rest of the test passed with flying colours. The most commendable test is the Noise Reduction test which scored a full 10 points out of 10. Here is a breakdown of the results. Both scored 113 points. The only difference is in the detail test and motion adaptive noise reduction.
HQV HD Test In HQV HD test, the IGP failed mostly due to strobes in the square corners of the Film Resolution Test and Video Resolution Test. It scored 45 out of 100 Here is a breakdown.
