ASRock MB implements AMD PSI (Power State Indicator) spec, which is a function for AM2+ platform to improve energy efficiency by disabling extra phases when CPU is at light loading. The exclusively designed Intelligent Energy Saver can effectively increase Voltage Regulator Efficiency by 16% and decrease its Voltage Regulator power consumption by 48% without reducing CPU performance and reliability. Intelligent Energy Saver is one of the options in ASRock OC Tuner.

To use Intelligent Energy Saver function, please enable Cool 'n' Quiet option in the BIOS setup in advance. Click on the Intelligent Energy Saver button located at the right wing of OC Tuner, and check the Intelligent Energy Saver function to enable it.

When CPU is at heavy loading, the system will be running with 4 power phases if Intelligent Energy Saver is activated. When CPU is at light loading or idle, the system will be running with 2 power phases if Intelligent Energy Saver is activated to save power energy and lift power efficiency.
