Review : ASUS Eee PC
900 based Intel Mobile Celeron 900MHz with 8.9" Screen
Bluetooth 24 Apr 2008
Introduction
Small, Robust and portability is the key to success of the Eee PC. Weighing
only 990g, the 900 series features a built-in Solid State Disk (SSD) technology
– which offers a quiet, energy saving and shock proof design for stable
computing on-the-go. It is the perfect tool for outdoor computing – suitable as
an ideal companion for reporters, wildlife photographers and other like-minded
outdoor enthusiasts.
It also has a bigger screen size of 8.9". This is a definite improvement over
the 700 series as you would need to scroll left and right to view a full web
page. It also comes in the option of Linux or Windows Preloaded running on Intel
Mobile Celeron 900MHz. The unit comes with a 7.4V 4400mAh
battery pack that can last around 3 hrs.
We will have a more in depth look of the device soon. Stay tuned.
