Benchmarks

The board is tested with a AMD Phenom 9550 running a pair of DDR2-1066 modules. The test is done using the on board UMA at default. On board UMA memory runs at 533Mhz. e.g. 700/533. Sideport is disabled. for AMD 790GX boards. The ECS A780GM-A Ultra is based on AMD 780G which clocks at 500/533 (GPU/MEM).

The AMD 790GX board scores a Windows Experience Index of 3.5.

Here is a breakdown of the scores of the 1 AMD 780G board and 3 AMD 790GX boards. The ECS A780GM-A Ultra comes with no Sideport memory. The ASRock AOD790GX/128M comes with a 128M Sideport using DDR2-800, the BIOSTAR comes with 64M of DDR2-800, the Gigabyte GA-MA790GP-DS4H comes with DDR3 memory.
