3Dmark05 and
3Dmark06 benchmark of
Gigabyte GA-MA790GP-DS4H AMD
790GX+SB750 mainboard
Benchmarks - 3Dmark2005/3DMark2006 In this test, we run the board in default mode , that is at 700MHz for GPU and the UMA memory is set to run in 533MHz. Thus the integrated GPU runs at 700/533MHz. The first test is done using UMA enabled. The 2nd test is with the UMA+Sideport enabled. The third test is UMA+Sideport enabled and GPU is overclocked to 1GHz. * *1GHz GPU clk is achieve by increasing the NB
voltage by +0.2v in BIOS. As we can see from the 3Dmark05 benchmarks, the UMA only setting scores 3792. With SP enabled, it scores 4346, an 14% improvement. When we overclock the GPU to 1GHz and SP enabled, it jumped to 4758 marks, a 25% improvement over UMA only setting.
In 3Dmark06, the results are 1787, 2053 and 2353 in the 3 different scenarios. We can see a 31% jump in performance when SP is enabled and GPU is o/c to 1GHz.
The same tests are applied to 3Dmark Vantage in Performance mode. We are surprised that it could complete the run. Initial score is 275 marks UMA only, With Sideport enabled, it increased to 349 marks. This is further improved to 463 when we push the GPU core to 1GHz. With GPU at 1GHz and Sideport enabled, a 68% improvement is registered.
Hybrid CrossFire benchmarks will be posted in the next update
