Gigabyte GA-X48T-DQ6 comes equipped with Dynamic Energy Saver. So what is Dynamic Energy Saver? Dynamic Energy Saver is a dynamic Multi Gear power design which increases and decreases power usage depending on work load.

According to Gigabyte, it's design can save up to 70% power saving and 20% improved power efficiency as compared to traditional 2 gear energy saving designs (save up to 58% and 7% in power and efficiency).

Using the DES tool, when enabled, you can check the amount of power saved in meter mode or total mode. On the right hand corner of the mainboard is a LED indicator, it shows the system loading. The LED display located directly on the motherboard, allows users to see the dynamic gear shifting in real-time.
