Introduction

2nd Tier manufacturer SuPOX scores another first with it's AMD 790GX+SB750 mainboard for the Phenom CPUs. Paired with Q-cool heatpipe design and o/c features, this board is going to outshine most of it's competitors with it's commited team of BIOS engineers experience in o/c bios.

This mainboard supports the Socket-AM2/AM2+ (940 pin) based AMD Athlon-AM2 2GTs/5.2GTs 16X16 Hyper Transport processors, Support 5.2GTs 16X16 wide Hyper Transport HT3.0 bus and support VMM (Virtualization-Machine-Monitoring). It supports upport 1.8v DDR2-667/800/1066 DIMMs with dual channel architecture on in single-sided or double-sided, unbuffered, non-ECC DIMMs with 256/512Mb/1Gb technologies. A total of 16 GB system memory is supported.

As it uses the 790GX north bridge, it comes with Radeon HD 3330 IGP. This integrated ATi RAdeon HD 3300 DirectX 10 with Shader Model 4.0 graphic processor support Windows Vista Aero display architecture.

It has a maximum DAC frequency of 400 MHz Resolution up to 2560x1600 (Under condition), refresh rate up to 85MHz. It also supports multiple Display configuration: D-SUB+ DVI-D+HDMI on rear panel , Frame buffer option from 32MB to 256MB. There is also support UVD architecture for H.264、VC1、MPEG2
Incorporate ATi’s innovative AVIVO HD display architecture

There are Two PCI connectors compliant with PCI v2.3, One PCI Express (x1) connectors compliant with PCI Express Gen2 V1.0, Two PCI Express (x16) connector compliant with PCI Express Gen2 V1.0 (Support CrossFire dual X8 or X16+X4) for expansion.

The SB750 chipset itself support up to ten USB connectors compliant with USB2.0 from embedded USB controller(4 connectors at rear panel), IDE ports with UDMA-33, ATA-66/100/133 support from embedded IDE controller. There are 6 S-ATA II ports(or one e-SATA support to rear I/O shield) with up to 300MB/s from chipset with RAID 0,1,0+1,5 support.

There is one 10/100/1000 Ethernet from Realtek RTL8111X PCIe controller ( Co-Lay 10/100 RTL8101E controller ) and selectable 2, 6 or 8-CH audio from ALC88X (colayout ALC662) HDA compliant CODEC with 20-bit ADC and 24-bit DAC
Support CD-In, S/PDIF-out, Coaxial S/PDIF-out available on rear panel, support Jack detection for fool-proof audio device installation.

Something different from other designs is the Q-SSD/ CF Card. The board has a CF X350 port with up to 64MB/s bandwidth for DIY SSD / HDD, Q-SSD is SUPoX Features.
