Preview of Gigabyte N295-18I-B NVIDIA 295 GTX Graphics card

Introduction

 

Today, NVIDIA officially announces their fastest consumer grade graphics card, the NVIDIA 295 GTX. Gigabyte also launched their Gigabyte N295-18I-B graphics card based on this graphics chipset.

This new card comes with 2 PCB and 2 GTX200 GPUs on on card. It is fully DX10 compliant. Supports SLI, PureVideo, PhysX, CUDA. It has native HDMI support, dual link HDCP and OpenGl 2.1 supported.

Core Clock 576MHz, Memory Clk 2GHz. Memory Size 1792MB GDDR3. Memory Bus is 896 bits wide with 480 Stream processors.

No doubt, it's target product is the AMD 4870X2. Both cards maximise performance by hooking up 2 GPUs and put them in a single card.
