GeForce 8800GTX Review Benchmarks - 3Dmark05 and 3Dmark06
Benchmarks 3DMark05 In this test, we ran the card in default clk settings at 575/900 and at o/c speed of 610/1050 using systool. As we can see from the score, the 8800GTX has overtaken the ATi X1950XTX by a whopping 3000 marks in this test. This is really an amazing score. As you can see from the chart, 3Dmark05 scores better with the X6800 as it has a higher clock speed in comparison when it is paired up with QX6700 (quad core at 2.66MHz). The card can be overclock to 610/1050. Anything higher results in tearing and blue screen popping out. From the scores, we can see that the 8800GTX is ~28% faster than the ATi X1950 XTX. 3DMark06 In 3DMark06, the score are very apparent too. The default stock speed sets the record of 10776 while overclocking it gives a 11234 marks. The card scores 11830 when it is paired up with the Quad Core CPU. Below is a breakdown of the scores.
From the results, we can see that it has surpassed the ATi X1950XTX by almost 62% in this test. That is really an impressive score. Introduction
